Ship's log · est. 25 Aug 2026
Tamas went sailing.
In August 2026 he traded an office for a boat — ten years around the world, one minute of video a day. This is where you find out where he's got to.

Mock voyage for design review — every dot on this build is invented.
The skipper
Two decades building communities. Now building sea miles.
Tamas Varga spent twenty years in tech bringing people together — running programmes, stages, and a community that spanned continents. In 2026 he stepped off the corporate deck for good and onto his own.
The plan is gloriously simple: sail, slowly, for about ten years. No blog, no newsletter, no grand content strategy. One short video a day, one dot on a map, and a standing invitation to look in whenever you wonder where he's got to.
How this works
62
One dot a day
Every day at sea adds a single dot to the map. Lines join the dots into the route so far — and when Tamas flies home for a spell, the line politely stops.
≈
Town-level only
Dots are placed at city or marina level, never exact positions. The boat's precise whereabouts stay between Tamas and the people he trusts.

A minute of video
Pick a day, watch the video. The footage lives on YouTube and Instagram — this site is the map that ties it all together.
“One minute a day. It will be just enough.”
